Alanis said it best. You’re young and you’re underpaid. But that doesn’t mean you can’t look good, so here’s Dirrty’s Guide to Dollar Tree Basics. I’m a bad person, but I do have great skin. I’m about to reveal to you, all my beauty secrets.
Dove bar. Truly nothing cuts through the grease on my face like a Dove bar. They also usually have a sensitive skin option.
Pond’s light moisture. My holy grail product. I use her morning noon and night, whenever she’s needed. When dollar tree stopped carrying this for a while, I bought in bulk @ Target. If I feel oily i will honest-to-god wash my face in a public sink with handsoap but i’ll still look good because I made sure to top up with this, nectar of the gods.
silicone face scrubbers. nuff said.
Suave aluminum free mint & rosemary. I’m not sure that this is actually any better for you than regular deodorant, but it claims to be aluminum free, works well, and has a nice scent. So I really hope it doesn’t give me cancer.
single blade eyebrow razors. I shave my face. I like the way it exfoliates all that dead skin and peach fuzz. I’m not sure of the science but I honestly think it’s good for your skin. Plus plucking fucks up the growth pattern of your eyebrows. Hence, razor.
skinny hair ties. because you always need them and the big ones tug on ur hair too much. plus my cat likes to play fetch with them but only if they’re little enough to fit between her tiny teeth.
Vaseline Rose Chapstick. Gets the job done, with a little tint.
