I think the fable of this movie is twofold. the first, is that it’s lonely at the top. the second, to consider who you are becoming in the pursuit of excellence.

It’s not an easy rise, even with our heroine’s undeniable scandanavian beauty and strong work ethic. compromises must be made. compromises of boundary and soul. she didn’t come to make friends, but friends she makes. and friends she loses.

there are a handful of initial positive experiences. but bad situations are almost unavoidable in this industry. she ends up in scary places. she is degraded. and she degrades.

we end the movie in a limousine, with the girl she wanted to be. She gets out of the car. I am glad for her, the future will be different.
